Requirements:
Bachelor of
Science in
Mechanical
Engineering.
Computer Aided
Design (CAD)
certificate from
educational
institution
and/or
experience
essential; auto
CAD desired.
Word processing
and spreadsheet
experience
needed.
Knowledge of
standard
drafting
practices.
Strong knowledge
of materials and
manufacturing,
especially
materials
processing and
manufacturing
strength of
materials.
General office,
communication,
and computer
skills. Ability
to apply
advanced
mathematical
concepts such as
exponents,
logarithms,
quadratic
equations, and
permutations.
Ability to apply
mathematical
operations to
such tasks as
frequency
distribution,
determination of
test reliability
and validity,
analysis of
variance,
correlation
techniques,
sampling theory,
and factor
analysis.
Written and oral
communication
skills in a
multi-cultural
work
