developing firmware
for embedded
systems.
Responsibilities
1.
Write extendable and
maintainable
firmware for new
development
projects.
2.
Work independently
to deliver custom
firmware for use in
OEM products.
3.
Write and maintain
Windows tools for
debugging, testing,
and product
development.
Required Skills
1.
Deep understanding
of C, assembly, and
interactions between
firmware and
electrical hardware.
2.
Experience with
Texas Instruments
DSP (‘54xx and ‘55xx
families)
3.
Experience with
Texas Instruments
development tools,
specifically Code
Composer Studio.
4.
Ability to write
well-documented,
modular firmware.
5.
Ability to think
critically about the
direction of
engineering projects
6.
Ability to learn new
skills as part of
ongoing research and
development
