Will manage and execute
our check-out and test
procedures for our UPS
systems. These
procedures ensure that
our products meet
specific military and
Industrial electrical
standards, but also
operate reliably and
robustly in applications
world-wide. The QCEE
should have a background
in power electronics
systems.
DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The QCEE will develop
test procedures that
will verify and assure
the proper operation of
our UPS systems in
environments
representative of
real-world use. The
procedures will: (1)
verify compliance to
applicable standards,
(2) assure proper
configuration and set-up
for our customer’s
varied applications and
(3) demonstrate the
reliable operation of
the unit before
shipping.
The QCEE will program
automated test
equipment, design test
fixtures, and procure
and maintain the
necessary
instrumentation. He will
proactively stay
informed on current and
future standards and
their ramifications to
our manufacturing
processes. The QCEE will
need to handle multiple
projects simultaneously,
with minimal guidance.
The QCEE should have
strong debugging skills
and will make design or
process change
suggestions to
manufacturing and
engineering to enhance
our products quality and
reliability.
The QCEE will develop
and maintain
documentation of our
test procedures. He will
develop and maintain a
database of each UPS
calibration,
customization, revision
level, and manufacturing
history.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years related
experience minimum.
- BS/MS Electrical
Engineering or related
field.
- Understanding of
electrical/mechanical
standards, including
Mil-Stds and UL.
- Design/Test experience
with power electronics
system.
